The grandma catches a hen, lays it on a stone bench, and removes its head with a machete, PFIOU, blood everywhere, screaming kids, she plucks out the whole thing, separates the thighs and the wings and the heart and then it’s off to the oven. The feathers will be used to make crowns, the bones will be turned into jacks, the intestines into a superb skipping rope, and maybe even the head will become our new football.
